The night before the first day

Well, tonight will be the last night in our house for four months as we leave on our adventure tomorrow. The map attached is one Lachlan took to his class for his news last week. While we don't have exact plans for where we are going this map will give you an idea on the areas we will be travelling to. The total distance could be somewhere around 14,000-16,000km.
Today, after a slow start due to a send off by some good friends, we met the boy's teachers. They all have work to complete and will have to send in on the way around. Plus Samuel and Toby have online classes three times a week. These of course will depend on where we are and if we have a mobile connection.
The Double Dragon (SSangyon - english translation) is nearly packed just some smaller things like books, some games and ear plugs for the kids still to go! Thanks also to the KPS for the lovely care pack. This will come in handy I'm sure.

Our next post will be on the road somewhere between here and Alice Springs. Maybe I will need the ear plus for the next few days.
