Heading North

Turned Right at Port Augusta and north up the Stuart Highway. A fairly long day today and set camp just south of Coober Pedy. Really cold overnight maybe 3-4 deg. Went into Coober for fuel. The boys love Coober Pedy and asked if they could do the "mine tour" they did years ago. Made it to the border and onto Rainbow Valley. Beautiful sunset there and a really great campsite. We had been past a few times and not gone in the 28km corrugated track, but actually well worth it. Got asked for the first time "what type of car is that".

Did you know that Port Germein Jetty was 1680m in length when completed in 1883

Great photos and commentary. Keep it up when you have time. Good to follow you.

By the way Pt Germein was 1837.270341 yards long when it was built.

    Sponsors night went well.
